I love discovering new brands and products, so when I saw a new brand to Love Lula, Freya + Bailey Natural Skincare, I knew I had to try a few of their products. Freya + Bailey deliver high quality clinically effective, vegan products. Free from toxins, parabens, mineral oils, synthetic perfumes and artificial colours. The products are packed with natural and organic ingredients which deliver targeted solutions that battle micro-pollution, skin hydration and premature ageing. Freya +Bailey offer products for face and body - think cleansers, scrubs, masks and moisturisers. Love Lula January Beauty Box

January's  Love Lula Beauty Box * has arrived! Well actually it arrived last week and I've been busy putting the products to the test. It is a bit of a mixed box this month, with a new to me brand and some new to me products. Let's take a look... I will start with new to be brand Hesh..... Hesh Black Seed Oil  (£7.99, 100ml) is extracted from the seeds of Nigella Sativa, a plant native to southwest Asia. Black seed oil has many health benefits due to its antioxidant rich properties. Can be taken internally as a remedy for conditions such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, headaches, high blood pressure and digestive disorders. Or used topically for skin and hair concerns, such as acne, dry hair, psoriasis, hair growth, and dry skin. It seems like an all round fab product to try, and not one I would of thought to buy myself. To use : Adults 5ml taken twice daily before food. Or apply small amount to skin and gently massage, leave as long as possible before washing

Madara Ocean Love Charcoal Detox Soap

Madara Ocean Love Charcoal Detox Soap This month I picked up Madara's Charcoal Detox Soap * (£8.95, 90g) which is an intensely purifying and nourishing detox soap with activated charcoal. As you can see below the soap bar is black (obviously) and is a decent sized solid soap. The Madara Charcoal Detox Soap is Vegan, palm free and microplastic free. Made with organic ingredients and natural essential oils. The amazing purifying power of charcoal draws out toxins and impurities in the skin to deeply, yet gently, cleanse your skin. This soap is scented with notes of orris and pine, and is suitable for male or female use. To use: Run bar under warm water and lather in hands. Apply to body or face, then rinse with warm water. As you can see the black from the charcoal is released once lathered so will make a little bit of a mess. This is easily washed away in the shower without leaving any stains. I would however recommend either placing in a soap dish or returning to
