Alchemy Oils Grapefruit Hair Remedy* (£35, 50ml) 

Alchemy Oils use 100% natural oils, free from preservatives, artificial colours and fragrance. The Grapefruit Hair Remedy is made using a powerful combination of 5 oils, designed to work together to create a multi-tasking hair treatment, which promotes the growth of strong, healthy hair. Suitable for all types of hair, whether you have fine, thick, dry, greasy, frizzy or even afro hair.

• Coconut Oil - prevents hair breakage & split ends and promotes scalp health.

• Avocado Oil - great for brittle and damaged hair, it’s a lightweight formula and easily absorbed so will work wonders even if your hair is thick.

• Castor Oil - used as a thickening agent, it is a natural antibacterial oil and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids. Its unusually high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it beneficial to hair.

• Almond Oil - has several important nutrients including polyunsaturated and mono fatty acids as well as vitamins E, D, B1, B2, B6 and A which condition hair making it super soft and lustrous.

• Grapefruit oil - a citrusy scented potent oil which fights dandruff and is a natural cleanser which is ideal to remedy product build-up.

To use: For optimal results use a minimum of 2-3 times a week. For dry hair massage the oil into your scalp and apply from the roots to the tips and leave on for a minimum of 20 minutes. Leave on as an overnight treatment for a deeply intensive mask then wash and condition as normal. For damp hair as a styling product; concentrate a few drops of oil on the ends of your hair then blow-dry and style as usual.

I loved the citrus scent of this oil, and found the oil helped tame my fly-aways, leaving my hair looking smooth. I also tried it as an overnight treatment which left my hair soft and nourished and easily manageable.
