Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist & FranChouliPom Nourishing Facial Serum

This month I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to try out a couple of products from Terre Verdi thanks to the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program. This brand has been on my radar for a while now and I was pleased to see I would be trialing not one but TWO of the products! 

Both products are Certified by Soil Association COSMOS, Vegan and Cruelty Free Approved. They come packaged in dark glass bottles which can be recycled after use which is great.

AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist* (£9, 30ml) This 100% organic, alcohol free rose water gives calming anti-septic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties to the skin. As well as being used as a toner to rebalance the skins pH level, it can also be mixed with an oil and used as a cleanser to remove dirt and makeup from the day. Another use is spraying onto hair to give hair a lovely floral scent. 

I have found myself reaching for this mist throughout the day to refresh my skin, and add a bit of moisture back in, especially on days where I'm at home and have the central heating on! 

FranChouliPom Nourishing Facial Serum* (£38, 30ml)

Made with a unique blend of active ingredients including vitamins and antioxidant-rich oils, this 99% organic serum is great for dry or maturing skin to reduce dry patches and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The consistency is thicker than other serums I've used, it more closely resembles an oil so only a few drops are needed. Just like the Balancing Mist above, this is another multi-tasking product. This serum can also be used as a luxurious face massage oil; apply a few drops to your hands and massage into face and neck and breathe in the lovely relaxing fragrance.

Key Ingredients: 

Pomegranate oil - abundant in punicic acid (also known as Omega 5), the only known botanical source for this rare essential fatty acid. Has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is a good antioxidant to tackle free radicals and delay skin ageing. 

Frankincense oil - reduces wrinkles, stimulates cell regeneration and protects older cells from free radical damage thanks to its cytophylatic properties. 

Patchouli leaf oil - helps tone and firm skin, slowing the signs of ageing by reducing the appearance of fine lines and blemishes for a vibrant, glowing, and smooth complexion. 

Neroli essential oil - replenishes skin and locks in moisture. Its skin–reviving properties will boost and rejuvenate complexion. 

Sweet orange essential oil - helps reduce dark spots and blemishes, boosts circulation, promotes cell growth and collagen synthesis and fights off free radicals. 

White tea oil - rich in antioxidants, helps eliminate free radicals that can lead to signs of premature ageing including pigmentation and wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory properties can also help reduce redness and inflammation. 

Jojoba oil - has a variety of healing properties to soothe and rejuvenate skin and help treat and prevent acne, eczema, and psoriasis. 

Argan oil - contains a rich blend of omega fatty acids, vitamin E, and linoleic acids, which all work in harmony to moisturise skin, soften dry patches, and reduce acne. 

I loved the uplifting yet relaxing fragrance of the Facial Serum, and found I didn't need to apply a separate moisturiser after using this, as it was moisturising enough on its own. My skin has loved both the Mist and the Serum (balancing, blemish fighting properties definitely help!) I'm thankfully not at the stage yet where I have too many wrinkles, (33 years old) however I do have the start of some crows feet around my eyes so fingers crossed this serum can keep them at bay a little longer.
