Love Lula Beauty Box - December

The last beauty box of the year is here from Love Lula, and is packed full with some fab products. 

Worth a total of £51 The box contains 3 full sized products and 2 deluxe travel sizes. 

First up from PHB is the 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash (£12, 300ml) Handmade with natural foamers to refresh & mositurise the skin. Oatmilk & Argan Oil complex boosts hair strength, adds softness & vitality whilst soothing the scalp. This is a scent free wash so great for sensitive skin types or anyone prone to reaction from fragrance. I'm happy to see something from this brand in the box as it's not one we see very often. One thing I'm not keen on is the packaging as the opening at the top of the bottle is very large so a lot of product comes out at once. This is something to keep an eye out for if buying this product.

Another brand I'm pleased to see is The Castilian Soap Company. I love the citrus scent of this Lemongrass Natural Castile Soap (£8, 250ml) This multi-purpose soap is a must have product in every household. From washing hands to washing floors this soap does it all. The Lemongrass Essential Oils give a refreshing and uplifting scent.

From Balm Balm is their Frankincense Light Facial Oil (£15.50, 30ml) which is just beautiful and perfect for the Holiday season. Apricot Kernel oil, Evening Primrose oil, Jojoba oil and Rosehip oils nourish, condition and protect the skin, while Frankincense and Grapefruit refresh and rejuvenate skin and smooth out fine lines. I have used other products from this range before and all have been lovely, Frankincense is one of my favourites from Balm Balm.

Lastly are 2 products from Madara. A 17ml sample of Madara Active AHA Brightening Peel Mask (£24, 60ml) Vitamin C from quince fruit, blended with hydrating lactic acid and soothing elderflower provides efficient exfoliation to remove dead skin cells. Skin is left smoother and more radiant looking. This is not a product suitable for sensitive skin. 

15ml sample of Time Miracle Hydra Firm Hyaluron Concentrate Jelly (£30, 75ml) With a superdose of multi-molecular Hyaluronic Acid, this luxurious, oil-free hydra jelly instantly quenches the skin for a firmer-looking and more youthful complexion. I have used this product before and love the jelly like consistency. My skin has been really dry recently so I'm happy to have a nice product to help add back some much needed hydration.

I normally have 2 or 3 coffees a day but have been swapping my morning coffee for a PureChimp Matcha Green Tea *(50g £9.95) Purechimp offer 4 flavours. Regular, turmeric, mint or lemon matcha tea. March Love Lula Beauty Box

The March Love Lula Beauty Box* contains 6 products from brands including Balm Balm, Ayumi, Madara and Soul Tree, with the contents having a total value of £52 which is fantastic value for this box. Love Lula are making some changes to their monthly subscription which will be coming to an end in May. I will miss the surprise treat every month but don't panic! Love Lula will be making the boxes available to purchase on the store individually as opposed to being subscription-based. This provides the opportunity for future Beauty Boxes to be curated with a more defined theme or purpose, which sounds exciting to me and I can't wait to see what the coming months will bring. Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask

One thing I love about skincare products is a good face mask...who doesn't am I right?! I was very excited this month to be given a chance to test out the Aura Manuka Honey Mask from Antipodes. It is suitable for most skin types, but especially great for blemish prone skin, so perfect for my skin type...in theory. The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask * is £26.99 and comes in a 75ml foil tube inside a cardboard box (which can both be recycled!) As a little goes a long way, I can see this mask lasting a good amount of time. Containing a blend of Manuka Honey, Avocado oil, Carrot oil, Grape Seed extract, Pohutukawa flower extract and vitamin E alongside essential oils of vanilla and mandarin, this face mask is sure to leave skin soothed and deeply hydrated.
