I do love a good multi use product...don't you? This Nourishing Dry Oil* from Bloomtown is no exception. The oil can be used as a relaxing bath oil, all over body moisturiser, massage oil or use a few drops on ends of hair overnight for a luxurious hair treatment....a dry oil the does it all!


A little about the brand
'We founded Bloomtown in 2016 after spending two years in Indonesia and witnessing first-hand the loss of virgin forest that is home to endangered orangutans, tigers and so much of the world's biodiversity. We decided it would be our mission to create a "ticks all the boxes" body & skincare company to offer concerned consumers truly ethical & cruelty-free alternatives.
Our multi-award-winning products are beautifully scented, expertly formulated and lovingly hand-crafted in our workshop in gorgeous Cornwall.'

I've chosen the scent 'The cafe' described as:

'A cosy blend of hazelnut and vanilla with notes of coffee & chocolate, sweet and comforting' 

And it sure does live up to its name. The oil has a very sweet chocolate hazelnut smell (maybe too sweet for some people!) with hints of coffee and vanilla coming through. I love each of these scents individually so together it's like heaven in a bottle! This product is rich in antioxidants with Meadowfoam, Sesame, and Sweet Almond Oils along with Vitamin E. 

I have yet to try in the bath, but as a body oil it's lovely. Skin is left silky smooth and moisturised, and not to mention smelling delicious!

It has been ages since I've bought a Look Fantastic Beauty Box but after seeing some spoiler pictures on Facebook I decided to use my glossy credits to get this months box. Great weather calls for great sun protection with Alteya Orgaincs

I'm loving the great weather we've been having so far this week....has summer finally arrived!? With temperatures up to 30 degrees in Scotland and soaring up to 38 in parts of England by Thursday, sun protection is a MUST if you are planning to leave your house even if all you do is sit in your garden. Sukin Blemish Control Kit

My skin is quite prone to spots and blemishes so I really wanted to find a product that would help to control breakouts and reduce the redness I have. I've used Sukin products before but never knew they had a blemish control range until recently. The  Sukin Blemish Control Kit * (£19.95) contains 4 products to help calm and clear the skin, three are 50ml and one is 15ml so decent sized samples, and handy for travelling with. Clearing Facial Wash purifies the skin while removing dirt and impurities with Quince and Pomegranate. Pore Perfecting Toner refines and refreshes the skin with Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Mint.
