Walden Natural Perfumes Rollerball Set

Walden Natural Perfumes was inspired by the work of an American essayist, poet & philosopher Hendry David Thoreau. Each perfume gets its name from snippets from his book Walden, which I think is a fab way to name them.  All the perfumes are handmade in small batches using the best quality natural absolutes, resins and essential oils.

I was first introduced to Walden Perfumes back in the February Love Lula Beauty Box. I enjoyed the 10ml sample of 'A Gentle Rain' and really wanted to try some of the other perfumes from the brand. Finding it difficult to decide on which one to try... I got them all! Walden Natural Perfumes Rollerball Set* (£20) contains all 7 perfumes in 2ml rollerball bottles, which come in a lovely black drawstring pouch.

A Gentle Rain - is a luxurious fragrance that grows with a blend of oak moss, labdanum and patchouli.A Little Star-Dust - is a sumptuous bouquet of Ylang Ylang, Iris and Jasmine enriched with hints of creamy Amyris and exotic Tonka Bean. Two Eternities - is a garland of Forest Flowers including Wild Roses, Jasmine and Iris floating above a fresh Citrus base of Bergamot and Sweet Orange Oil.A Different Drummer - opens with a rich blast of Tobacco followed by peppery Cedarwood and Patchouli to finish with creamy hints of Amyris, Vanilla and Tonka Bean. The Solid Earth - has a fresh petitgrain opening followed by a heart of vetiver and patchouli. The dry down is creamy amyris with hints of black pepper.Castles in the Air - is a fresh, intoxicating blend of Citrus with a hint of tropical flowers and lavender.See the Moonlight - is an intoxicating Chypre fragrance that opens with fresh Bergamot followed by a heart of Jasmine and hints of Rose. The finish is luxurious Sandalwood and exotic Ambrette Seed.

Each scent lasted quite well on my skin. I found the rollerball makes application quick and easy, and the size is perfect to pop in my pocket or bag for reapplying throughout the day if needed.

The strongest scents for me were 'A Gentle Rain' and 'A Different Drummer'. Although both nice, they are the most masculine of the perfumes, so would depend greatly on what mood I was in on a particular day if I would wear them that often or not. My favourites however out of these perfumes are 'Castles in the Air' and 'Two Eternities'...most likely due to the citrus notes, as I love fruity scents!

Overall its a great little set to trial all the scents at once. I would say that there is definitely a scent for everyone in this collection. Have you tried any Walden Perfumes?
