Love Lula Beauty Box - January

The first Love Lula Beauty Box* of the year has arrived! It features many of the same brands as last months box, and is worth a total of £60! wow!

The first product that stood out for me was the PHB Pink Clay Cleanser (£20, 100ml) This clay cleanser gently removes all traces of makeup, toxins and impurities to refresh and replenish skin. French Pink Clay rejuvenates & detoxifies skin for a brighter and more radiant complexion. It also doubles up as a mask should you wish to leave it on skin for longer. This product alone covers the cost of the box, so already great value!

From Balm Balm is a Rose Floral Water Hydrosol (£8.50, 30ml). A beautiful rose scented spray which is great to use as a toner or a freshing mist sprayed throughout the day. I have used this product in the past and its always a good one to have in my skincare routine.

Madara is featured frequently in the boxes which is great as I've never come across a product I've not liked from this brand. The SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask (£35, 60ml) is a lightweight mask which can be wiped off or left on. It gives instant hydration and moisturising benefits to the skin thanks to hyaluronic acid. Enriched with anti-inflammatory linseed and nettle. I received a 17ml samples size worth just shy of £10.


Studies show it contains 50% more vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than Argan Oil as well as 3 times more Retinol than Rose Hip Oil, giving it powerful anti-aging power. It is a fast absorbing, odourless, dry oil that leaves no residue. Everyone needs a bit of anti- ageing goodness in their skincare routine so this product is perfect for that.


Lastly are 2 sachet samples from Ayumi. The Tumeric & Bergamot Face Mask and Tumeric & Bergamot Face Cream.


Overall a fantastic box to start the year.

March Love Lula Beauty Box

The March Love Lula Beauty Box* contains 6 products from brands including Balm Balm, Ayumi, Madara and Soul Tree, with the contents having a total value of £52 which is fantastic value for this box. Love Lula are making some changes to their monthly subscription which will be coming to an end in May. I will miss the surprise treat every month but don't panic! Love Lula will be making the boxes available to purchase on the store individually as opposed to being subscription-based. This provides the opportunity for future Beauty Boxes to be curated with a more defined theme or purpose, which sounds exciting to me and I can't wait to see what the coming months will bring. One thing I love about skincare products is a good face mask...who doesn't am I right?! I was very excited this month to be given a chance to test out the Aura Manuka Honey Mask from Antipodes. It is suitable for most skin types, but especially great for blemish prone skin, so perfect for my skin type...in theory. The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask * is £26.99 and comes in a 75ml foil tube inside a cardboard box (which can both be recycled!) As a little goes a long way, I can see this mask lasting a good amount of time.
