Sukin Deeply Hydrating Biodegradable Sheet Mask

Image
Sukin Deeply Hydrating Biodegradable Sheet Mask * (£4.95) delivers visible hydration deep into the skin. An active Bio-Marine Blend of Sea Algae, Hyaluronic Acid & Maize Complex deeply rehydrates skin, leaving it looking plump and radiant for up to 72 hours. The sheet mask is made with 100% natural Cotton fibres that will Biodegrade 6 months after use, so you don't have to feel too bad for using a single use product. The outer packaging can also be recycled.  To use: Open packet, unfold mask and apply to your face. Leave on for 15 – 30 minutes and then gently remove. Massage remaining serum into your skin. If anyone has a secret technique for how to best apply a sheet mask let me know! I always end up looking like clown or something from a scary movie 🙈 but looks aside this sheet mask worked great for me. My skin type is combination, dry skin on my cheeks and around the top of my nose between the eyebrows, with oily nose and chin. Make-up can usually be seen clinging to my dry...

Ben & Anna Shower Gel Tablets

Image
I am a big fan of Ben & Anna products as they are suitable for the whole family. Always free from phthalates, parabens, microplastics, SLS and formaldehydes. Also none of the products have been tested on animals and are Vegan certified.   I have tried a variety of their products over the last few months, see my latest reviews  here  and  here .  New from Ben & Anna are these lovely shower tablets, specially formulated with baking soda, olive oil, freshwater algae and citrus to cleanse and refresh the skin. Available in 2 scents: mild ‘Velvet’ or refreshing 'Aqua' which is the one I have chosen.   Ben & Anna Shower Gel Tablets * cost £11.95 for a  pack containing 24 tablets, each tablet will last approx 2 uses so this pack is enough for 48 showers. To Use: Dissolve the shower tablet in your hand with a splash of water, use the lather to shower then rinse well. Put any remaining product somewhere safe and dry ready for your next sho...

September Love Lula Beauty Box

Image
This months Love Lula Beauty Box* contains 5 products which are collectively worth £62. There are a few new to me products, but I have used all the brands featured this month at one time or another. Madara Anti-pollution Charcoal and Mud repair mask (£7, 12.5ml - £27, 60ml) A double action treatment mask rich in antioxidant Black Northern Mud and Charcoal. This mask purifies skin and promotes skin cell renewal as well is removing impurities and pollution build up. I have used this mask before and found it great for detoxing my skin, and unclogging pores. This is a 12.5ml sample which is a great size to trial the product. Ayumi Tumeric and Papaya Face Toner (£6.99, 150ml) A delicate infusion of traditional botanicals Turmeric, Papaya and Amla caress the skin with their sensitive care. Glycerin helps keep the skin hydrated while aloe vera cools and soothes skin. Glycolic acid encourages new skin cells as it gently tones the skin.  I have used other products from this brand but this...

Tropic Skincare - Body Smooth Refreshing Polish

Image
Body Smooth Refreshing Polish £24, 200ml The first Tropic product I want to talk about is the lovely Body Smooth Refreshing Polish.  I tell everyone about this product when I talk to them about Tropic because I love it! Everyone should try it!  This bestselling, award winning body scrub is the founding product of Tropic Skincare. Back in 2004 when founder and CEO Susie Ma was just 15 years old, she took 50 jars of her freshly made batch of body scrub to Greenwich Market in London and sold every single one! It was that summer she realized she wasn't alone in her passion for fresh, natural skincare and spend the next few years devoting her nights and weekends (alongside studies) to formulating recipes and adding more products to the range.  Body Smooth comes packages in a plastic jar (for safety in shower) with a wooden spoon to help scoop out the product. Containing mineral-rich organic sea salts to buff away dead skin cells and a super softening blend of go...

Project Empties #6

Image
It has been 2 months since my last empties post as I didn't have all that many to share. However I used up quite a lot since then so I now have loads to share with you! Marcella 8 in 1 power serum - This was a nice serum but I didn't feel it did much for my skin. Buy again? no Tropic Vitamin Toner - I love this toner as it comes in a mist spray bottle so easy to apply. It has a lovely cucumber scent. Can also be used on legs after shaving to cool any irritation, or spritzed on hair to help condition and tame frizz. Buy again? Yes! I have bought the full size already! True Skincare Cleansing Oil - This bottle lasted forever! It is a lovely cleansing oil and I loved the smell. My skin felt great after using this. Buy Again? I have a lot of oils and cleansers to use up so for now no, but I would definitely keep it in mind for the future. Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara -  Eyeko has been one of my go to Mascara brands for ages! This one worked well and is definitely waterproof...
